Whether heat, electricity or mobility - the energy supply of the future is renewable, decentralized and digital
One thing is certain: If Germany wants to reach the climate, the transport and heating sector must be electrified by 2050. And for that, renewable electricity is needed - and a lot of it. It quickly becomes clear that the conversion of the energy systems is not only a multi-layered, but above all a whole social task.
The 14th edition of the New Energy Husum focused on precisely these topics: new technologies and innovations for private individuals, businesses and municipalities based on all renewable energies, energy generation, storage and use, modern and energy-efficient construction, renovation and modernization as well as sustainable Thermal Concepts, Digitization and Electromobility. A total of 10,000 visitors and 150 exhibitors took part in the dialogue on 12,000 square meters, on which there is also a test track for electric vehicles in the Freigelände.
Experts from politics, business and technology, manufacturers, consultants, builders, farmers and families - the New Energy Husum brought together all those who want to change and move. Embedded in the fair were also a series of publicly accessible forums in which high-caliber speakers presented comprehensibly and vividly how the energy development can proceed reliably in practice and in all divisions.
The New Energy Husum is still an important branch of the development scene, but has also developed further in recent years to a final consumer fair. At the fair it will be mainly visible which part of the technological progress has already arrived in everyday life. It is shown how each individual - whether private or commercial - can use renewable energy effectively and thus contribute to a new holistic energy supply.
