Welcome to the 10th International Greentech & Eco-Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM). The biggest flagship event organised annually by the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment & Climate Change (MESTECC) creating a platform for solution providers and green businesses to tap into the fast-expanding ASEAN market by showcasing the latest innovations to policy makers, government organisations, investors and the mass market.

Following its initiation in 2010 by the former Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA), IGEM has since established itself as South East Asia’s largest trade event for green technologies and eco-solutions by successfully generating an estimated generally over RM23.6 in business leads, boasting an attendance of over 450,000 visitors including delegates, dignitaries and companies from over 50 countries.

On its 10th series, IGEM this year sees a promising future; being the 10th anniversary of IGEM; and the consistent production of this event is evident that the agenda for a sustainable and green Malaysia is constantly in the attention of Malaysia’s policy makers and solution providers. IGEM 2019 is scheduled to be held between 9-11th of October 2019 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia.

IGEM 2019 Innovating Sustainability through Green Technologies that empower Climate Action today explores the integration modes between green economy solutions and its application to the aim of achieving sustainable development goals for various global industries. Issues to be discussed would be on mitigating the “70% global population living in cities by 2050, river pollution, working together to end plastic waste, driving towards cleaner air, reducing greenhouse gas emissions & more efficient LEDs”, amongst other issues.

The major players attending this year’s event are Hanwha Q Cells, JA Solar, Plus Solar, Clenergy, PowerWay Renewable Energy, SM Solar and Longi Solar. The must-visit Pavilions this year will feature The Malaysian State Governments alongside their International counterparts from the European Union, Korea and China.
