New high-specification iameco are the world's first fully upgradeable, updateable, reusable and recyclable environmentally friendly computers. This demo iameco video was shown on RTE's Eco Eye program on the 22nd and 27th March 2006. They are available at Micropro's retail outlet in Dublin, at Cultivate in Temple Bar and on-line at iameco.com. The new range of PCs, designed and assembled in Ireland, are free of many of the harmful materials, such as brominated flame retardants, PVCs and heavy metals like lead, cadmium and mercury that have been regularly used in computer manufacture for years.
