Here's a 3D modeling of Academica's Data Center Suvilahti, located in Helsinki Finland. Suvilahti Data Center is a building inside a building. A former Helsingin Energia power plant has been transformed into a world class colocation and hosting facility. Academica utilizes the building space as efficiently as possible. All in all the site has approximately 3000 square meters of IT space and approximately 2000 square meters of auxiliary space. The power design allows for up to 3 kW/sqm enabling high-density rack deployments.

The eco-efficient Data Center relies on the usage of both district cooling and district heating. By using these unique production methods Academica's Data Center is able to achieve a power usage effectiveness (PUE) as never seen before.
