Hello! My name is Randy Velker, and I am the co-owner of Simple Energy Works with my wife Renee. Simple Energy Works was established as a green energy and solar products and services company in the Fall of 2009.We offer solar system kits, a whole house energy monitor, and Tennessee solar system design and installation.

Simple Energy Works wants to be an agent of change and address the social and environmental problems in which we find ourselves. We want to be a net gain on our society and our environment. In other words, we want to hand over our society and environment in better shape than when we found it.

It is not enough to go “energy neutral.” We strive to be energy importers, energy producers. To not bring our houses to Net Zero, but to Net Positive in energy production. So… we reduce our energy usage regularly. We increase our energy production regularly. We cut waste and excess regularly. And we invest our energy and our time into improving our business (including the complete supply chain) and our surroundings.

We are not here to simply “get by,” we are here to “thrive” and to improve the environment and our society during our tenure. We are committed to being good stewards of the “garden,” and to organizing, maintaining, and improving our sphere of influence. We are for the enjoyment and wise use of all resources, but against exploitation, destruction and unsustainable practices which have insidiously and unconsciously crept into our modern lifestyles. As we recognize these practices….. we repent… and do what we can to remedy our past mistakes!
