The Austrian Institute of Technology/Austrian Urban Environmental Group consists of 1500 expert staff, involved in technology choice, project development, planning and implementation of Smart City projects in Europe, Asia and South America. We work in all Smart City areas such as green building, energy efficiency, emissions reduction, waste-to-wealth, connectivity and mobility, health and environment, public health and sustainable urban design as part of a holistic concept. We advise and do detailed planning and technology choice for national and city governments, developers and multilateral financial institutions. Our technologies are always adapted to specific climatic, geographical social and cultural contexts. We have a Social Design unit that fine-tunes technologies for each city.
