In Sri Lanka, an unusual paper supplier strolls around the jungle – the elephant. As vegetarians elephant poo contains strong fibres to make into paper.

This unique constituent - elephant poo - is collected, boiled, dried and disinfected and then pulped together with locally sourced recycled paper at the Maximus factory, to make a soft-touch fibrous paper. From this, a large range of beautiful and individually textured stationery products including notebooks, jotters, calendars, diaries, greeting cards, photo albums, small gift boxes are crafted.
