This presentation will introduce the Vertical Operating Waste Transfer Station, a simpler, more efficient, environmental-friendly and economical alternative to the common Horizontal Operating Waste Transfer Station. Unlike Horizontal operating/compacting waste transfer stations, the containers (round shaped silos) are filled from a vertical loading platform. The basic concept is to use gravity and press (compact) downwards, similar to hand-pressing waste downwards to add more content when tossing waste into a wastebasket.
